Hi Guys ✋!!,
Welcome back to another episode of journey to photoshop . I hope you guys liked my surprise and please comment down your precious views😊 .
When we try anything new there are errors😔 that we commit so in this blog I will tell you about what are the common mistakes that we commit in photoshop to help you improve your experience .
Top 8 errors :)
1) Ignoring Non-Destructive Editing: A typical mistake is editing destructively, which involves making direct modifications to the original image. This may limit your ability to undo or amend changes later. Instead, use adjustment layers, smart objects, and masks to perform non-destructive changes. This offers you additional versatility while preserving the integrity of your original image.
2)Overusing Filters and Effects:
Excessive use of filters and effects might create an unrealistic or tacky appearance for your photographs. It is critical to utilize these tools sparingly and thoughtfully, keeping the overall appearance in mind. To blend effects together smoothly, try out softer tweaks and utilize blending .
3)Neglecting Keyboard Shortcuts: Many Photoshop users rely on the mouse or touchpad for navigation and editing, ignoring the effectiveness of keyboard shortcuts. Learning and applying shortcuts into your workflow can drastically accelerate the editing process and increase productivity. Invest time in memorizing commonly used shortcuts and tailoring them to your tastes.
4)Working in the Wrong Color Space:
Working in the incorrect color space can result in erroneous colors and unexpected outcomes when printing or displaying photographs. Make sure you're using the correct color space for your desired output, such as sRGB for online graphics and Adobe RGB or CMYK for print. You can customize the color space in Photoshop's color settings to meet your needs.
5)Using Low-Resolution Images:
When using low-resolution photographs, attempting to enlarge them can cause pixelation and loss of detail. Always use high-resolution pictures wherever possible, particularly for print jobs. If you must work with low-resolution photographs, utilize Photoshop's resampling algorithms sparingly to avoid quality loss, and investigate other solutions like upscaling plugins or image interpolation.
6)Forgetting to Save Regularly:
To avoid losing hours of work due to Photoshop crashes or pauses, it's important to save your progress on a regular basis. Make it a habit to save your work on a frequent basis, especially using incremental file names that can trace changes over time. Additionally, enable Photoshop's auto-recovery tool to protect against potential data loss.
7)Neglecting Color Correction:
Color correction is essential for accurate and visually appealing results . Avoid ignoring it .
Neglecting color correction can leave photographs looking boring, washed out, or overly
saturated. Learn about Photoshop's color adjustment tools, such as Levels, Curves, and Hue/
saturation, and use them to fine-tune color balance, contrast, and saturation for best results.
8)Overlooking selection Techniques:
Effective selection is essential for photoshop operating like composting , masking and retouching . Ignoring advanced selection techniques sech as using the pen tool or refining selections with tools like select and mask might result in inaccurate or jagged edges . Invest time in understanding numerous selection procedures to ensure that your projects have clean and precise selections.
